The "Lydian Collective" is a shooting star that made it into the illustrious circle of my favorite fusion bands in the blink of an eye. It evolved from Aaron Wheelers "Laszlo" project, and he and his partners Todd Baker, Ida Holis, and Sophie Alloway are the perfect team for playing this kind of fancy challenging stuff. Each one of the four musicians is a perfect virtuoso on her/his instrument.
